2025 International Women’s Day Speaker

Location: Telus Centre, University of Alberta I was honored to be invited as a guest speaker. In this talk, I explored the role of women in contemporary art and how identity is reflected in artistic expression. Drawing from my own experiences as an immigrant artist, I discussed how women have been cultural storytellers throughout history, preserving heritage while pushing creative boundaries. This event provided a meaningful space to celebrate the resilience, creativity, and contributions of women in the arts, fostering dialogue about multiculturalism and artistic innovation in Canada.
